Know the Boundaries

What a legal consultant can — and cannot — do

Transparency protects you. Florida and every other state prohibit the unlicensed practice of law. Here is exactly where our role begins and ends.

We can

  • Type and prepare documents using information you provide in writing
  • Provide blank court forms and point you to official instructions
  • Explain general court procedures, filing steps, and published deadlines
  • Format documents to meet court formatting rules
  • Help you locate, download, and organize your docket entries
  • E-file your signed documents and coordinate service of process
  • Organize evidence, exhibits, hearing packets, and trial binders
  • Perform legal research and deliver the materials for your or your attorney's review
  • Work under the supervision of licensed attorneys on their cases

We cannot

  • Give legal advice or tell you how the law applies to your facts
  • Recommend legal strategy, claims, defenses, or what to file
  • Select or choose legal forms for you
  • Represent you in court, at mediation, or at a deposition
  • Negotiate legal disputes or claims with the other party, a creditor, or a landlord on your behalf
  • Sign court documents for you or appear as your representative
  • Predict outcomes or interpret court orders for your case
  • Assist with any criminal matter
  • Create an attorney-client relationship or privilege

Why eBurst Advocate

Structure, accuracy, and honesty in every file

Civil cases are won and lost on paperwork as often as on argument. Missed deadlines, improperly formatted filings, unserved defendants, and disorganized evidence can derail a valid claim before a judge ever reads it. eBurst Advocate exists to remove that friction.

We are a division of eBurst Services Inc, a Florida-based business consulting company. We bring the same disciplined process, documentation standards, and client service to civil legal support.

  • Flat, published pricing — you know the fee before work begins.
  • Written engagement — every project starts with a signed scope that restates our non-attorney role.
  • Your words, your decisions — you approve every document before it is finalized.
  • Attorney network — when your matter needs a lawyer, we help you find one.
