Terms of Service
The terms that govern use of this website and our services.
Effective date: October 1, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using this website or our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Legal Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use this website or our services.
2. Nature of services
eBurst Advocate provides non-attorney legal document preparation, organization, procedural information, and litigation support services for civil matters. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, legal strategy, or legal representation.
3. Engagement
Paid services begin only after you sign a written engagement agreement and non-attorney disclosure and pay any required fee. If these Terms conflict with your engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information in writing
- Select the documents and forms you wish to have prepared
- Review all documents for accuracy before signing, filing, or sending
- Track and meet all deadlines, and confirm them with the court or an attorney
- Pay court, filing, service, and third-party fees
- Seek advice from a licensed attorney for any legal questions
5. Fees and payment
Fees are as published or as quoted in your engagement agreement. Hourly services are billed in increments stated in the agreement. Prices exclude third-party costs. Fees for work performed are generally non-refundable; if you cancel before work begins, refund eligibility is governed by your engagement agreement.
6. No guarantee
We do not guarantee any outcome, acceptance of any document by a court or agency, or any result in your matter.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, eBurst Advocate's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for outcomes resulting from your decisions, information you provided, or the actions of courts, agencies, attorneys, or other third parties.
8. Termination
We may decline or withdraw from any engagement, including where a matter requires an attorney, involves a criminal matter, or where continuing would conflict with unlicensed practice of law rules.
9. Website use
